Advancing Communication and Community Impact: Canandaigua LDC Introduces Advisory Committees

To strengthen community collaboration and move key initiatives forward, the Canandaigua Local Development Corporation (CLDC) is establishing five advisory committees: Housing, Advocacy, Business Retention & Expansion, Visitor Economy, and Infrastructure. These committees are designed to bring together professional experience, local insight and community-driven collaboration to shape CLDC strategy and guide meaningful change.

The CLDC is seeking additional participation from stakeholders, residents, business owners and/or persons that work within the City or Town of Canandaigua. Whether you bring professional expertise, advanced local knowledge, or a strong desire to serve your community, your involvement can make a real impact.

Current committee members include:

  • Housing: Robert Taylor, Dave Sauter, Thomas Lyon

  • Advocacy: Jared Simpson, Douglass Merrill, Michael Mills

  • Business Retention & Expansion: Tracey Dello Stritto, Randy Farnsworth

  • Visitor Economy: John Casey, Dave Sauter

  • Infrastructure: Bob Palumbo, Jared Simpson, Randy Farnsworth

If you’re interested in joining a committee, please contact the CLDC and indicate which group you’d like to support: Logan@ONChamber.com.
Meeting frequency, dates, and times will be established in coordination with committee participants.
